Poem

The Heart’s Memory

The heart’s memory
in the labyrinth of my mind, twisted
and gnarly hedges
of distinct memories obscure
the path of feeling,
unfettered, crisp.

The heart’s memory
in the labyrinth of my heart, predictable
and succulent dreams
desire a memory and
justification for anarchy,
innate, nude.
